Guo Limin, born in November 1942 in Wuqiao, Hebei province, a Party member, enlisted in 1960 and worked in the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 1979. He held many positions, including Director and Deputy Director of the Veterans Affairs Division, and Deputy Director (Senior Official) of the Discipline Inspection Group at the Ministry of Civil Affairs. In 2021, he was awarded the “Glorious 50 Years in the Party” commemorative medal and the title of “Silent Contributor to the Construction of the RPC at the Community Level.”

He is currently a member of the Central Government Artists Association, Vice President of the China International Cultural Promotion Association, Chief Advisor of the Diplomatic Gifts Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and a Director of the Chinese People’s Painting and Calligraphy Academy. His works have been included in authoritative reference books such as The Great Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters, The Complete Collection of World Classic Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting, and The Chinese Dragon Dictionary. He has won numerous national-level awards, including second and third prizes, as well as more than ten gold awards in calligraphy and painting competitions.

He is a National First-Class Artist, a pioneer in the inheritance of traditional culture, and a practitioner of cultural exchange under the Belt and Road Initiative.
