Foreword：

Spanning five millennia, Chinese civilization has bequeathed a dazzling constellation of artistic treasures. From oracle bone inscriptions to ink wash paintings, from bronze ritual vessels to the poetic elegance of blue-and-white porcelain, Eastern art has conveyed the cultural ethos and  intellectual legacy of the Chinese nation to the world through its unique   aesthetic philosophy and masterful craftsmanship. This summer marks the grand return of the fifth season of "Summer of Eastern Art," themed "Chinese Treasures: Millennia of Artisan Excellence." The exhibition meticulously curates artistic masterpieces from various Chinese dynasties, including calligraphy, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and jade artifacts, comprehensively showcasing the grandeur and exquisite refinement of Chinese art.

More than a tribute to traditional art, this exhibition serves as a cross- temporal cultural dialogue, enabling visitors to experience the eternal allure of Chinese civilization within its compact yet profound dimensions.

II、Highlights of the Exhibition

This exhibition will present a selection of treasures of Eastern art, including calligraphy, painting, sculpture, ceramics, jade and other diverse art forms. Each piece has been carefully selected to fully demonstrate the rich connotations and extraordinary charm of Eastern art. 

At the same time, we will build a cross-national art dialogue platform, bringing together art creators and research experts  from  around  the  world,  and  promoting  in-depth communication and mutual learning between Eastern and Western civilizations through academic discussions and exhibitions of works.
